Aircraft Transition Training
In summer of 2014 I flew down to the Searey factory and completed the flight instructor course of the Searey Flight Instructors Association transition training syllabus Searey instructors Don Laughlin and John McLeroy.
I also got checked out in a Cessna Cardinal.

New Rating
In later winter 2015 I flew my 1965 Skyhawk down to Pompano Beach to do my single engine ATP rating. I'm not sure who had more fun, me enjoying the warmth and sun, the kid flight instructor who couldn't believe and airplane that old could fly, or the DPE who kept asking to fly the plane because he had never experienced flying as slow as my plane will go with flaps down!

Taught Myself Word Press
Having no money to hire a webmaster, I decided it was time to learn to do it myself. I taught myself Word Press from watching YouTube videos. I did this website in Word Press as well as the Chesapeake Sport Pilot site and Seaplane Docks site.
